Why should I plant Burrus?

Do you produce all of your own seed?
Yes, almost our entire production is located within an 11-Mile radius of our plant at Arenzville, along with the Hoblit production capacity at Manito and Atlanta, IL.

Is Burrus committed to the future?
Definitely! We are firmly embedded in the fourth generation of family ownership with a strong history of sales growth. Come tour our facility and you will feel our long-term commitment.

Can I get a special deal?
Everyone loves a special deal. We strive to give every grower the same opportunities. We do not want to bastardize the system. We prefer the golden rule-treat others the way you would like to be treated.

How can Burrus compete with the big seed company’s low-interest financing?
For 2010 we offer monthly Early Pay Savings opportunities. In addition we offer 0%, 3% and 5% financing options until December of 2010 depending on when the grower wants to commit. In addition we offer the opportunity for an Early Pay Savings plus a 0% financing until April of 2010. This allows the grower a smaller cash discount now, but a no cost financing until April that means he has January, February and March to deliver grain and payoff his John Deere Farm Plan.

When can I prepay with a discount?
Burrus offers Early Pay Savings every month from October 10, 2009 through June 10, 2010.

Can I get a grain premium when I grow Burrus?
There are several opportunities to Identity Preserve grain from Burrus Hybrids. If we are not listed for a premium opportunity near you, please help us by sharing the decision makers’ name with Mike Langan, and asking that facility to consider Burrus.
