Do you produce all of your own seed? |

Yes, almost our entire production is located within
an 11-mile radius of our plant at Arenzville, Ill.
From time to time we will supplement with some
winter production, usually on technology hybrids. |

Everyone loves a special deal. We strive to give every
grower the same opportunities. We do not want to
bastardize the system. We prefer the golden rule – treat others the way you would like to be treated. |

How can Burrus compete with the big seed
company’s low-interest financing? |
| A. |
For 2008, we will again be offering Farm Plan. The
Farm Plan finance input program has a minimum purchase of $2,500, if a customer is not yet using this
plan, an application form is included in this manual.
For growers who already are familiar with their terms,
Burrus will offer three packages, all due in December
of 2008.The first is for those who prepay with their
Farm Plan card on or before November 10, 2007.
They will pay a 3% fixed rate until the December 2008
due date.
The second opportunity is for using the Farm Plan
card on or before the February 10, 2008 deadline. They will receive a 5% fixed rate until Dec. 2008. And
lastly those who use their Farm Plan card by April 10,
2008 will pay prime interest until the Dec. 2008 due
date. Please note the use of other credit cards are
permitted anytime throughout the year, but do offer
lower discounts than those paying cash. If you use
the Farm Plan card for other transactions other than
the three finance input offers from Burrus, the regular
credit card discount rates will apply. |

Burrus offers Early Pay Savings every month from
November 10, 2007 through July 10, 2008. |

Can I get a grain premium when I grow Burrus? |
| A. |
There are several opportunities to Identity
Preserve grain from Burrus Hybrids. If we are not
listed for a premium opportunity near you, please
help us by sharing the decision maker’s name with
Bryan Young, C.C.A. and the home site testing co-coordinator, asking that facility to consider Burrus
next year. We are active in the Processor Preferred
program as well as the AAVI effort. |
